  • Employee Relations Ambassador (ERA): Assisted in directing employers, running information tables, organizing student volunteers and managing employer requests to ensure smooth operation of career fairs

  • Assisted in Virginia Tidewater Research trip pertaining to the local areas and historic renovation to record and document oral histories for archival use

  • Learned basics of oral history theory and methods to conduct oral history interviews

  • Transcribed oral history interviews to preserve oral histories in public archives

  • Developed podcast episode focusing on the narratives of women in punk rock and presented findings in order to promote educational interest in subcultures

    ALACHUA COUNTY LYNCHING HISTORY

    Alachua County Truth and Reconciliation

    Conducted independent research to locate and compile records pertaining to slavery and lynching. Searched databases to locate documentation and provide summaries to county officials.

    SENIOR THESIS

    Department of History

    Independent research project supervised by a faculty mentor in the department of history. I completed a 50 page written paper based on primary and secondary sources that I had found through my year-long research.
